The former St Joseph's Primary School building on the Doury Road in the town has been taken over by the Parish and is now known as St Joseph's Early Years Centre.

The groups now accommodated in it are:

Kenbaan Pre School
St Louis Pre School
First Steps Pre School
Naiscoil Choin Ri Uladh

Surestart Ballymena which provides a range of services for mothers and children - pre birth to pre school - is also in residence.
